This is still under construction , I will be placing all photos in a more orderly fashion and adding my family 'tree' as it grows. I've met wonderful people whilst searching my family's background. Please return another day and see what other treasures I've placed here :-)
My page is dedicated to my children Mark and Mandy, friends Lynda and Sarah Beddoe(Jnr.),Netty, KC and Joy Clotworthy and my loving partner Alan Simmons.
I will tell you about my "Mr.Fish" 28 KG Kingfish you see below.... later ok :-)
This may be a dizzy experience but what the heck !
I guess I need to tell you a bit about me......
I was born on Christmas day,
in Ivanhoe a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on a hot summer's afternoon ( sounds like
the introduction to Meatloaf's song !! )......my mother was adamant I was
not her baby, possibly due to the fact I had a mop of thick black hair
and a face like cooked tomato !!
I grew up in Templestowe, Victoria, Australia. My brother, Warren and I attended the local primary school, it was a great feeling knowing my big brother was there to protect me :-) we moved on to Templestowe High, affectionately known as 'Tempy High' , unfortunately both these schools have been pulled down, with exception of the State's schools original brick building I don't mind being born on Christmas day....I love Christmas, the best time of my life was being 'Santa' for so many years...and experiencing my children's joy decorating the tree, putting out Santa's snacks when they came down each Christmas morning to look under the tree.
I went on to Preston Technical College , a boys school to study year 11art , 900 odd male students ( not exactly odd ) and 9 females...... come to think of it, that was pulled down too !
A few of my favourite things: ( another
line to a song ! )
As I like so many things, I'll just ramble on here...photos of Mark and Mandy infact anything to do with Mark and Mandy, flowers, being Santa, Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy for Mark and Mandy, dressing up as the 'Safety Road' cat for Mandy in kindergarten and seeing her little face as I shook her little hand, respect, geraniums, old fences, hugs, being Mark and Mandy's mum, green beans, crystal, fishing, lace, camembert, butterflies, soft perfume, mowing the lawn, listening, celery and white sauce, rain, strawberries, lettuce, fresh air, op-shops, the smell of the sun on a warm day, old picture frames, apricots, navy blue, black, Doris Day, lavender, recipes, knitting, broccoli , Daphne, hanging out the washing, quiet walks, carrots, cooking, lyrics to songs with meaning, dolphins, watering the garden, clean hair, second hand shops, old bridges, freshly cut grass, velvet, cuddles, Sweet Peas, manners, sewing, olives, Vita-Wheat biscuits, crunchy apples, smiles, roasts, wearing my hair in a ponytail, my *Wonderbubble* puppy Midi who I desperately miss..... Told you I would ramble:-)
Best experience.... giving birth to Mark and Mandy
My dislikes......violence, control, mind games, arrogance.
Favourite saying.... "What goes round comes round"
My Goal .....to see Mark and Mandy be happy and enjoy life.
My two *wonderful* children Mark Garry Clotworthy born November 1981 and Mandy Anne Clotworthy born May 1984.
As they were growing up I gave them love, encouragement and above all to have self respect.
I thoroughly enjoyed spending my time (along with working from home) with them each day, reading, drawing, writing, playing games and walking in our garden, singing and listening to both of them singing happily whilst playing.
We had so much fun :-)
Mark is studying Engineering, applies a pencil to paper with great ease, produces fantastic images as well as on the computer.
Mandy is finishing her high school studies, is a keen, talented artist and a whiz at web pages ....keep watching I may have some of their art work here for you to view ...ssshhhhh....
I'm very proud of my children :-)
